Please join us for Auden and 'the Flesh We Are' - A public lecture by Professor Edward Mendelson (Columbia University, New York)

Edward Mendelson is the literary executor of the Estate of W H Auden and the world's authority on the works of the poet.  He is in Edinburgh as the first Isabel Dalhousie Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, a Fellowship created by the author, Alexander McCall Smith. 

The evening will also feature the world premiere of a setting of one of Auden's poems by composer Tom Cunningham; and a new pipe tune "Professor Edward Mendelson's visit to Edinburgh"

Doors open at 5.30pm
